The Invention of Vita-Wonk Summary

Mr. Willy Wonka was a scientist. He decided to invent medicine, Wonka-Vita, which made people younger. However, it was very powerful and made people disappear because their ages went in minus. One person took medication, and his age was minus eighty-seven years old, so he had to wait eighty-seven years to come back. Mr. Wonka wanted to invent another medicine that could reverse the changes caused by Wonka-Vite.

He wished to know what the oldest living thing in the world was or anything that lived longer than everything else. He has an assistant named Charlie. Charlie said trees. However, the question was which tree has lived for so long. It was not fir, oak, or cedar. Charlie found that it would be Bristlecone that grew in Wheeler Peak in Nevada, USA. These trees were over four thousand years old. Wonka stepped into his Great Glass Elevator and went all over the world. He managed to collect the special items amongst his list of the oldest living things. He collected a pint of sap from the Bristlecone Pine, the toenail clippings from a one hundred and sixty-eight-year-old Russian farmer, an egg laid by a two-hundred-year-old tortoise, the whiskers of a thirty-six-year-old cat, and so on.

Mr. Wonka also looked out for very old animals and took a little something from each one of them. In the end, he collected everything and boiled the product in his inventing room. In the end, he produced a small cup full of a black liquid. He had a courageous and young volunteer, Oompa Loompa, to see what happened.

When Charlie questioned the result, Mr. Wonka said that the medicine had a swift and fantastic effect. As soon as the volunteer gulped those drops down, he started to age and got wrinkled. His hair and teeth dropped and fell old. In a moment, the twenty-year-old boy transformed into a man of seventy years. This is how Vita-Wonk was invented.
